Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: October 2026
1. Overview of Cancellation Guidelines
At Mallikarjuna Sadan, we understand that pilgrimage travel schedules can be affected by darshan token slots, temple queues, or road transit across the Nallamala forest ghats. To ensure fairness for all yatris seeking accommodation, we enforce a transparent cancellation policy.
2. Cancellation Notice & Slabs
Cancellations are calculated based on the standard check-in time of 12:00 PM (Noon) on the scheduled arrival date:
| Notice Period | Cancellation Status |
|---|---|
| 48 Hours or more prior to Check-in | Eligible for cancellation with nominal 20% processing charge |
| Between 24 to 48 Hours prior to Check-in | Eligible for cancellation with 50% cancellation fee |
| Less than 24 Hours prior or Day of Check-in | 100% cancellation charge (Advance non-refundable) |
3. Non-Cancellable Peak Festival Periods
Reservations booked for major pilgrimage occasions — including Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavams, Karthika Masam, Ugadi Utsavams, and Sravana Masam — fall under our high-rush block. Due to extreme devotee demand, bookings confirmed for these dates are strictly non-cancellable and non-adjustable.
4. How to Submit a Cancellation Request
To request a cancellation, devotees must reach out directly through the official contact channel used during booking:
- Send your full guest name, booking date, and phone number via official WhatsApp or email to [email protected].
- Cancellation requests are acknowledged only after our reservation desk confirms receipt in writing.
- Verbal requests via third-party agents or unverified calls cannot be honored.
5. Date Rescheduling Option
Subject to room availability and at least 48 hours advance notice, yatris may request to postpone their check-in date by up to 30 days without forfeiting their advance (excluding peak festival seasons and public holidays). Tariff differentials, if any, will apply.
6. No-Show Policy
If a guest fails to arrive by 8:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date without prior communication, the reservation will be treated as a No-Show. The room will be released to other visiting pilgrims, and any advance deposited will stand forfeited.
